CTLS Language School is an establishment with a mission, namely to bring mutual enrichment to both foreigners and Thais. The mutual enrichment takes the form of improving the interaction and intercommunication between these two groups by teaching a number of courses to this end. The courses in question are:

• a 200-hour Thai Language and Culture programme, which guarantees a one-year Non-Immigrant Educational Visa (ED Visa);
• a 20-hour Thai Ethics and Culture Course for serving and aspirant foreign teachers; mandatory to obtain a teacher’s licence and work permit;
• a 130-hour TEFL Training Course;
• various courses of English for non-native speakers

CTLS is fully licenced by the Ministry of Education and has the full approval, backing and encouragement of both the Immigration Bureau and the local authority, which specifically asked the school to set up in Pattaya so as to offer foreigners, in particular, the opportunity to competently learn Thai, and familiarise themselves with the Thai culture, in order to be more fully integrated into the Thai society. CTLS has been running a variety of courses at its Bangkok branch for five years, and has graduated over 500 students from its Thai Language and Culture programme, all of whom successfully gained ED Visas.
